Can you tell safe zone for trans. temp if???? Best answer get 10pts?

If I had trans. pressure gauge would I be able to tell if my trans.temp is in the safe zone by as certain psi in the trans.

    Only indirectly - for most fluids the higher the temperature, the lower the pressure (psi) in the system at any given load condition. In this particular case, to establish anything more accurate one would have to know the viscosity vs. temperature curve of your transmission fluid. Even so, it's little more than guesswork and unpractical at most. The transmissions operate fine throughout a wide temperature range, so unless you plan heavy haul or competition activity, I suggest you drop the idea or go for a temp gauge if you have to.
