the arrow on a fuel filter.? which way should they point?

is it toward the engine. ot the tank?

    In the mechanic point of view, it could puzzle us all sometimes even if it is a simple question. Here maybe a good tip for you. Imagine your right hand as a filter. Put your thumps up as the direction toward whichever you want it to go. Your other 4 fingers are pointing the direction you should twist. This is the method we use.
