Is there something that I can insert in my pumps to make them fit better?

My feet are in between sizes; I wear between a 5.5 and 6 usually. I have a couple of pairs that are slightly too big, but a 5 would be too small. Is there something I can put in them to make my feet feel more secure? If there is, where can I get this?

Any drug store (or chemist if you are in Canada/UK) sells a wide variety of padded inserts that fit in all styles of shoes to make them fit better. Dr. Scholl's is one brand but there are plenty of others. I always buy my shoes a bit big so I can cushion them with these for more comfort.
