In a recipe if I were to substitute fresh bread crumbs in a recipe that calls for....?

dried crumbs how do I do the conversion?? Would 1 cup of fresh be equal to 1 cup of dried??? Thanks in advance...

    Bread crumbs are bread crumbs, so when a recipe calls for them, I don't buy a separate can of crumbs, I just chop up a piece of bread or two into little pieces and it works just fine!

    The only reason crumbs are dried is so that they store longer without molding!

    Yes, 1 cup to 1 cup!

    Take a few minutes and just dry the fresh bread in a toaster oven first. Then crush when dried.
