which video converter you installed? you need to check if this program supports burning dual layer discs. as i know, many DVD converter can not do this job.

or, you can try iSharesoft DVD Creator, it allows you burn almost all of formats of video to DVD and play it on DVD player.

    http://www.isharesoft.com/dvd-creator.html

    it offers free trial version.

I think you can try Actusoft Free Video Converter, it is a simple yet powerful video converter. Convert video, rip DVD, save for many video formats like AVI (DivX, XviD, etc.), DV AVI, MP4 (Sony PSP, Apple TV, iPod, iPhone, etc), WMV (including Zune), ASF, 3GP.

download Actusoft Video Converter forom the following website:

it can also copy dvd to your hard dirve or burn DVD movies to DVD disc.

Play on the computer or on a DVD player? Some DVD players can't play DL disks. Did you burn vob files if you're playing the disk on a DVD player? Did you close the session? (Id your drive DL-capable?)
