Max Tire Size for 17"x7.5"??!?
I own a 2008 VW GLI. My wheel is Denver 17"x7.5" (stock).
The stock tire spec is: 225/45ZR17 91W
Can I fit a tire with the following spec on the same wheel (17x7.5)?
235/45ZR17 94W BSW
If yes, how is the safety? 'cause I drive fast! ;)

You can fit that tire on the wheel, but I wouldn't put it on the car. Both the width and overall diameter will be greater which could cause interference problems. This car is already close to maxed out on tire size from the factory. It was designed for a 195/65R15 91H remember. The bigger tire will also REDUCE the vehicles overall performance capability. The correct tire size however will work very well on a 7.5 wheel. That is the tire and wheel size combo I use on the track.
