Is this normal? (ahh this is too short of a question!!)?

Is it weird that I have never ever cried watching a movie or reading a book or having a inspirational talk?

I'm not completely apathetic. I cry all the time when it comes to real life because life just sucks half the time. Do you think it might just be because I've taught myself so much as a kid that book and movies are fake because otherwise I was so scared all the time of everything?

Everybody has an indirect way to deal with certain emotion. Most of it has to do with your upbringing...but this is completely normal. I have the exact same thing, i just can't cry...even if i find it very sad.

Teaching yourself takes about 40-45 years. Not crying over the things you say might mean that you are learning from them. Crying is the result of emotion. Being emotional about life is great!
