Is liking androgynous guys (guys that look like girl) means that you're a lesbian?

and, who are actors that are considered as androgynous?

thanks for answering.

Update:

in my opinion, it's a no.

because im not bi or lesbian what so ever.

but an example would be Bill Kaulitz, he is supeerr hot.

but he kinda has girly features ya know?

    but he's still a guy.

    so there, it's normal!!

I know this question is closed and was asked years ago but I came here as I wondering the same thing!

Anyway, here's what I think: At the end of the day, an androgynous guy IS biologically a guy, though just not your sterotypical manly type of guy. People's tastes in what makes a suitable partner can vary. Androgynous guys are brave and confident enough to stand out and be themselves, which is no wonder why as a straight girl like yourself, are attracted/drawn to them. Confidence= attractive. See what I mean? If you put gender norms aside, can you really blame yourself?! Androgynous guys aren't boring sheeple, they're interesting and quirky!

So no, it doesn't make you a lesbian. If you can't imagine yourself having a romantic relationship with a girl, but can only imagine yourself with a guy (who's even androgynous, in yours and my case), then you therefore cannot possibly be homosexual, and you have no need to question your sexuality. Hope I helped! :)

My best friend is a male and he wears make up but dresses like a guy in a high fashionable manner but still male clothing and he is also very flamboyant and he doesn't want to be a woman . You need to think outside the box, just because certain people look or dress in a particular way doesn't necessarily mean they're trying to be something else. It just is what it is. Just like in the straight community we have goths, punks, Emos, jocks , athletes and such divisions that portray different clothing tendencies the same thing happens in the gay community. And trust me many people are into them too.

No, I think it's more of an aesthetic quirk than to do with sexual attraction. I like the look of androgynous guys, but I wouldn't have sex with one, because they're still guys. I have a married, straight female friend who also likes androgynous guys, and she married one of the most guyish guys you could possibly imagine. I dont think it's connected to sexual preference, I think it's something else, though I'm not sure what. A liking for slightly subversive things might be part of it. I dont think it's in any way connected with a tendancy towards being a lesbian, though.

Actors ... Matthew Gray Gubler http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_zoeBEQgBjWY/SCu5i-oy82I/...

    Keanu Reeves.

I guess it could start some lesbian tendencies in SOME girls not all. Or bisexual tendencies.

but usually after going after a guy like that, it doesn't turn them bi, or les.why would it? It is still a guy!

    Um actors?

    not really sure.

I have heard Gerard be called androgynous before though. with his long black hair.

maybe Sacha Baron Cohen is a little androgynous

Nope not a all, I'm straight but am in love with Noel Fielding (from the mighty boosh) and he can be very androgynous but I like him because of that, cos it's quirky and different and at the end of the day he's still a guy, just one that likes glittery outfts!

No, how girls and boys should look like is social construction. If you're attracted to a guy (no matter how he looks) that would not make you a lesbian, although it wouldn't preclude you from being one either. I know plenty of lesbians, for example, who have been attracted to a guy at some point in their life, just as I've known plenty of straight people who have been attracted to someone of the same sex at some point in their life.

Here's the heteronormative binary model of behavior:

Female = female identity = feminine behavior = desire for male partner.

Male = male identity = masculine behavior = desire for female partner.

You're heterosexual. Also, the only performer that's widely known that could be considered genderqueer or third gender or andro is Ongina from Season 1 of Rupaul's Drag Race. Or any Thai ladyboy.
