English because its the biggest and most used.

Other than that, to learn, it depends where you live. If you're in Europe and you already speak English maybe French or German or Spanish or Italian. If you live in America, then maybe Spanish would be best.

Leo M: I don't know where you get your information from, but English is by far the most useful for your business career, unless you already speak it. Hindi? Russian? Is this a joke? Nobody uses Hindi for business, even if you are doing business with India, you speak English.

Furthermore, English has many more speakers than Mandarin. Estimated 1.9 billion.

It is dependent. If you already talk French moderately good, Spanish shall be ridiculously handy, handy ample to be trained it on your own. I might advocate you to take a direction in a extra individual language, particularly Japanese or Mandarin Chinese seem very well in a résumé, and be trained Spanish on your own, at dwelling. It relatively is ridiculously handy, I began final 12 months in tuition after having taken 2 years of French earlier than and I acquired a immediately sequence of one million+s (A++ on German grading scale) in the course of the 12 months.

Welsh is a brilliant language to learn. As you can already speak English, Welsh should come fairly easily to you as it's a relatively simple language.

Let me know which one you chose - I can help with Welsh if you'd like =)

I doubt there is such a thing as the best language. There may be more useful for you or someone else and for a particular purpose, but it does not mean it is any way "better" than others.

    Italian

i don't think there would be a "best" language, it just depends where you live and where you might travel for what language you should learn

The one that you are 'best' at. Try Japanese, it's got interesting squiggles.
