OK, so the supermarkets sell "duck crowns" which is the breast and thigh bones. What happens to the rest?

Now it might be 'confit de canard' but perhaps not because the thigh bones are left behind. Is it dog food? Where do the wings, tail and drumsicks end up? Anybody know?

They may be sold or used for soups, I use whole legs for confit, here in Toronto Canada, I buy them at my Asian markets, I like duck leg as much as a chicken leg, wings are great for soups, and the bones to make a dandy stock, here they sell backs and neck of chicken for that, so I buy a few pounds of duck wings to make the stock much richer, I would ask, as they may sell them dirt cheap and they make a good substitute for chicken bones in stock, and there is enough meat on the leg if cooked right for confit or even for a soups meat.
