it is physically painful when my husband and i have sex. I dont know if his hmm hmm has gotten bigger,?
or if i have gotten vaginally smaller, but for some reason it really hurts anytime we do it, to the point where it is painful to walk almost, and it stays painful for days afterward. This causes me to sometimes try to avoid having sex. I mean, sex is an important part of a marriage, and i want to be able to please my husband, as well as be pleasured myself. he feels bad when he can tell i am in pain, i try to hide it and push through, but its getting to the point where i dont know what to do. Is it possible for a man to get bigger, or a woman to get vaginally smaller?

No it's not possible. Maybe he's thrusting harder than normal or you are in an ackward postiition... that can make sex uncomfortable... try experimenting with diffrent postitions until you find something that is comfortable for you. If sex is still painful you might want to check with your GYN. There may be something medically going on that is making sex painful.

Couple of possibilities.
Hormonal changes can cause a decrease in estrogen which can lead to vaginal dryness and pain.
An infection can cause vaginal discomfort, causing vaginal pain after intercourse. STDs, Bacterial vaginosis, yeast infections etc . . .
Pelvic Floor Dysfunction is a very real problem that can cause the pelvic floor and vaginal area to be tight and cause pain with intercourse and after intercourse. Lots of reasons for PFD. Google it and get some more info for yourself.
Any growth or other change, prolapsed uterus etc can be painful.
Go see an OB/GYN and get an exam.
In the meantime, hold off. Painful sex causes you to be more tense and lead to more pain. Stick with oral for a while.
