    Light has wave-particle duality (waves and particles), a focal concept in Quantum Mechanics.

    When you are trying to predict how light will behave or interact, it is sometimes useful and convenient to think of it as a wave and sometimes as a particle.

    Yes, it is. And all particles, not just photons, have wave properties.
