why would my period stop like this?
i got my period on a tuesday and it continued on until about thursday or friday, but now its nothing but spotting and its not everyday either its very irregular. today is now a sunday and its still stopping and even yesterday there was nothing. my period does last about 7 days but i have never experienced something like this. i am sexual active but with only person since ive been active and there is not as much stress/emotional things going on right now either that would affect it. any ideas?

Some woman have irregular periods with no apparent reason. It just happens that way. Women's periods can last anywhere from 5 to 7 days. Sometimes longer!! If it continues to be irregular when it's always been regular up to this point, you may want to speak with your gynecologist for an exam and maybe lab work would need to be done to see if there is a fluctuation with your hormones. Hormonal balances are common.
