Is it possible to have no sex drive at all?

Im 16, nearly 17, and I have never felt any form of sexual attraction, I actualy thought this was normal until I realised that everyone I knew, Had appareantly been having girlfriends or boyfriends since the age of 12.

Is it actualy possible to simply have no sexual urges or sex drive? If not Its probably due to a developmental disorder i have

It's possible but it's not at all normal. Especially for 16 year old boys. You may have a hormonal imbalance or disorder. If this concerns you at all I'd recommend seeing an endocrinologist or a general practicing doctor. 18 years old is supposed to be a man's sexual peak.

It can happen. There are two possibilities here with you:

    1) It is related to a medical problem.

    2) You are asexual. Check out the website Asexuality.org

  • I know of men that did not get sexually active till their 30's

it is not the norm but is normal for some.

perhaps your A-sexual. I was some what that way when I was your age but when i hit my 20's it was on. Perhaps you should just try sex and see if you like it. Sex is fun but cliff jumping is alot better rush. Just do what your body and mind tell you. Society puts alot of emphasis on sex as though if your not having you wont be accepted. Live your life! :)

yes it is possible you may be asexual meaning you have no attraction to either gender in a sexual way. it may also be a hormonal problem i would talk to your docter to get that ruled out.
