I paid dealer $90 to diagnose my car and they said it was my fuel pump and they lied. Can I get my money back?

I took my car to a local reputable dealer and had them diagnose it because my car would not start. They told me that they put it on the diagnostic machine and that it was the fuel pump. They wanted to charge me $1000 to fix it. I dont have that kind of money so I took it to one of the corner auto shops and they said my fuel pump was fine and had the dealer actually checked it, they would have known my ignition switch was bad. 

Can i get my money back from the dealer? who should I talk to?

Diagnose means to determine what the problem is.

They made an error.

If they could not determine what the problem was -  refund. 

Since they specifically stated what the problem was and error-ed they owe you a  - refund.

No refund -  Contact the BBB.  (Better Business Bureau).

No, you won't get your money back...you paid for their time and that is non refundable.

Most dealers are quick to take a stab at the most expensive route to fixing your car when you have issues. They likely ran the diagnostic but didn't bother physically checking the pump.

Worth trying to. You need to prove to the dealer they were wrong though. Talk to the service department manager.

paided  to diagnose   no i fthey got it worng or not you paid for a job 
you know few parts store do it free
and then you know car dealerships sale cars where auto shops repair them

and no you cant get your money back they get do a test on it you paid for their time
