    Hiya kal!

In America, if you want to market a product that is claimed to be Organic, then you have to follow Federal rules, regulation and guide lines in order to sell the item as Organic. Now some companies will meet only the bare minimum requirements, while other will exceed them. But all all must meet the Organic guidelines to be called that. I just looked over their web site: http://www.soilassociation.org/ and they looked pretty legitimate being a non-for-profit organization. They would hold those who wish to tag their product with S.A.O.'s certification label, to extremely high standards. I'd bank my money on their label. I hope this helped, good luck

Hydrophobic - frightened of water Hydrophillic - loves water. In an organic and organic acid i will assume you mean something like a fatty acid, a protracted carbon chain with a carboxylic acid at one end. The hydrophobic end is the carbon chain and the hydrophilic section is the carboxylic acid team.
