Kareem Abdul-Jabaar (look out above, MJ!) (also has most points in NBA history)

Magic Johnson (he was pretty all-around)

John Stockton (passing whiz) (also, has LOTS of steals, #1 all time, and can get the ball, pass to someone big, BAM)

    Bill Russell (rebounding machine)

    Hakeem Olajuwon (all-around player, too)

As you can see, this is a VERY all-around team and they may seem not that good, but they are PHENOMENAL.

Blocks from Kareem, Assists and TO's from Stockton, Rebounds from Russell, and two complete all-around players from Olajuwon and Magic.

    Hope I helped!

The problem with this team is that, to be effective, they all need the ball in their hands a lot. They score off the dribble a lot. Lebron is a good passer, and DWade too sometimes. But I think a team with more movement with the ball could definitely beat them.

Magic Johnson, Bill Russel (who doesn't need the ball to be effective because of his defense), Oscar Robertson,

Then people that can shoot and spread the floor

    Larry Bird, and Reggie Miller.

Oscar Robertson would be the only player in the history of the NBA who could match up with Lebron in size and quickness.

Bill Russel won almost every match-up against Wilt. And everyone here plays good, honest defense. This team could probably win a well-reffed game.

    kareem abdul jabbar--wilt chamberlain

    scottie pippen--kobe bryant

    carmello anothony--lebron james

    anfernee "penny" hardaway--michael jordan

    gary payton--dwayne wade

wilt said in an interview on the video"nba at 50" that he needed help guarding kareem, also a clutch shooter and unstoppable skyhook.

scottie pippen, one of the best defense players, guarded point guards smaller then him and some of the best shooters, also was a clutch shooter,

carmello anthony, we both know what he can do,

anfernee harday, tall and athletic before injuries came to him, michael jordan said in an interview one time that anfernee was the toughest to play against, clutch player,

gary payton, defensive player of the year for a guy 6'4" in 1996, he didn't care how tall a player was, trash talked alot,

all the 4 players listed are athletic, tough on defense, consistent shooters from the 2's and 3's and play team ball,

the 5th player, center kareem would do well against wilt

    ***********************************************

larry bird, magic johnson, karl malone would be better guarding the center only, their great players but you have players who can run, those 3 would have a hard time guarding jordan, kobe, lebron and wade,

why would people put in 2 centers, to clog the lane? your players can shoot the ball well also but my list of players can defend well! its about match-ups, not size or hall of famers!

Source(s): didn't watch wilt play before kareem i watched his last 3-4 yrs, watch jordan, pippen kobe, lebron and so on

No, not even close to #2. As far as the person saying he'd be average if the refs called his travelling and moving his pivot foot, Get real, he'd just adjust. He's one of the most talented players ever and is the best player in the league right now. The refs can't affect that.

play this team in tournaments a la olympic basketball...no one would beat them.

keep them together for a season at their primes, their competitive nature and egos would tear apart the team

my team would be magic, bird, duncan, pippen olajuwon

under normal circumstances, i wouldnt have picked pippen. but he has the best chance of containing (not shutting down...no one could do that to ur 4 wing players) mj,lbj,dw and kb while keeping them honest and the ability to play point forward.

magic and bird...size and floor leadership for magic and outside shooting and hustle for bird

duncan would cause match up problems if he's match-up w/ the wing players and is a much better defender of the rim than another obvious PF pick, karl malone.

some people would pick russell or kareem to battle wilt but i think hakeem would make wilt work on both ends of the floor. plus he could put the ball on the floor, play face up or have his back to the basket and hit outside shots. he also could shoot free throws.

my team would give them a challenge but in the end ur team wins.
