Why do you have to "put your two cents in"..... But it's only a "penny for your thoughts"?

Where's that extra penny going to?

*smiles *

Have a great day . all . D :)

    Ok this is my theory: You pay a penny to think it { a penny for your thoughts } but if you voice your opinion, it cost you two cents { putting your two cents in }

    It's only a penny if someone ask for it. If you're trying to make someone listen it takes more.

    There's 2 theories of thought on this::

    1) What you think it's worth is worth only half as much in reality

    2) It is accounting for 50% inflation!
