You would need to change your flywheel, the turbo 4g63 has a larger flywheel so there is more surface area to transer HP. But all the mounting points are the same. This is assuming your car is 91-94, from 1995 on the non turbo eclipse used a 420A dodge motor that is completely different and will never fit.

A ninety 5 GS-T comes with a T25 turbocharger. you may ought to alter lots to place a T4 on it, and the engine won't have the potential to cope with it. ninety 5+ DSM's (eclipse, talon) are prevalent to have a situation called crankwalk, which basically finally ends up destroying the engine anyhow. The worst 12 months for it, regrettably, replaced into ninety 5. in case you easily need to enhance the inventory swifter, a 16G will artwork, yet it rather is a much greater unfavorable layout, or you need to improve to something greater present day, like a GT28RS swifter. it is going to bolt on, and make respectable capability. undertaking is, a GS-T is front wheel force, so making greater capability shouldn't help it lots.

If it's a 1G. BUT they aren't designed to hold up to the increased power of the turbocharged engine.

If it's a 2G, ain't gonna happen as they are mounted on opposite sides of the car.

Y/A is an idiot, the engines are different and so are the transmissions. No it will not bolt up.

it won't bolt up directly, it is capable of fitting, it would be custom though, ie expensive...the other issue is reliability, gears are no where near as tough, and this can be no bueno in some cases.
