HYUNDAI ACCNET GVS PETROL LOW MILAGE?

Friends I recently bought a Hyundai Accent GVS Fully loaded from my friend. Its only 22,000 kms done. Its very good and smooth. But I wonder why , I get a very low milage. It only gives me 5.5 kms per liter. I really dont get that. My FOrd Ikon can give 9kms in city with Ac.But Accent should be atleast 10kms with AC. Can any one tell me what are the things I need to check in case if I need to figure out the issue.

Only trouble I figured till date is : less Coolant oil... Guys any one know the exact reason for low mileage in ACCENT GVS....

ok so really its a less milage! 22k is not a long run, but its a time to do the de-carbonisation, also in accent having some special tappet adjusting system, its only in accent(its will not work for long)its like a automatic tappet adjesting system (i forget its tech. name(H.T.P/H.T.L) so its like a spring loded piston, most of the time its chocked and will not operate, becoz of tappet malfuncation, your valve may leak or not operate better, so i think that is the one reason to get low milage, also never expect more than 9kpl with ac in city, thats my experiace,ok take care hope my knowledge is helpfull to you,hav safe riding bye.

I don't know, It depends on condition. Toyota engines are extremely reliable, but that Matrix has way more miles than the Hyundai. If both are in good condition, I would go with the Toyota.

Ask this to Hyundai technical team through their Custome Service.

They are in a better position than us to suggest action.
