Is it illegal to put video reviews of a video game on youtube?
I just wanted to know if it was illegal to put video reviews of video games on youtube because i see them on there but just wanted to know if it was legal without the game makers permission? It does show gameplay that i have recorded.

Game images are copyrighted. But it is ultimately up to the publisher to decide if a vid should not be posted. I see lots of reviews for games, old and new that have been there for years. Companies like Viacom/MTV networks, and BMI music regularly have vids muted or removed, but ye rarely see it with games.

Probably not, and even if it is against the rules somehow, the worst you can expect is for the video to be taken down.
