Why does my audio keep skipping when i play DVD's?

Question

My computer is old and stuff.  I wanted to watch a dvd on my computer through Quick play and when it started up the audio is all scratchy and jumpy.  the video seems to run normal but the audio is fuzzy.  I tried playing it on windows media player and its the same problem.  I suck with computers so any help will be awesome.  Thanx!

Okay, there may be a few different things; (as noted above) your PC may not be able to handle it. Your Audio card may not be that great, or your disc may be scratched. Also, you may have trouble with your drive (depending on just how old it is). Depending on what your computer has build into it (I'm guessing its stock) you may be able to adjust your audio settings (Mine can. Realtek Audio Manager) or maybe not. Your computer may not be able to process both audio and video at the same time.  Maybe it's time to get a newer one
