Audio Device On High Definition Audio Bus Driver?
In Device Manager it says that the Audio Device On High Definition Audio Bus Driver isn't installed. The problem is that I can't find any good driver for it. I tried to install the latest version of Realtek (with HD too) but the message was still on. I also tried Microsoft's universal audio device driver - didn't work too. Finally I tried Nvidia's driver because my motherboard is a Geforce 8200 (model M3N78-VM). The problem there was that I couldn't find any audio driver.
Another weird thing is that if I use Speccy (a program which shows what drivers are installed and the specs of the computer) it says that I have the audio driver. It actually says "Sound - Nvidia High Definition Audio", which means that it's installed. But again, as long as I can't hear any sound and Device Manager says that it's not installed, then I can't really trust Speccy.
So, can you help me? What drivers should I use?
P.S.: I don't need a video card or a sound card because the motherboard has it all integrated in it. Just so you know.

Almost two years membership and not a single answer...........................
What's your version of Windows?
Get a Windows installation disc with all the updates (service packs) slipstreamed; Google how to do this upon your current windows installation.
According to this page (http://reviews.cnet.com/motherboards/asus-m3n78-vm... you are installing the wrong audio codec/manager, as your motherboard uses the VIA chipset and not Realtek.
Remember to back up your data before reinstalling Windows.
Good luck.

If you can’t find the right Audio drivers manually I would recommend just getting a software program that can do it for you. There is a program I use which will find drivers for just about all hardware devices. The best part is it takes a snapshot of your system specifications and matches the right driver to go with it. Perform a free driver scan at:

Also, you can get the driver from their official sites:

Make sure Windows is updated through service pack 3 and try running the hardware wizard again, should find it!

May i suggest.
You just see if it is enabled .
Right click you volume speaker icon. select play back devises.
You should see your speaker icon in the pop up window .
If you do not see the icon right click in an open space in this window and tick "show disabled devises"
Select properties then enable and set as default.
If this is not your problem good luck.
