How come ... How come ...?

I know someone else who said something very much similar to what Hemingway said, but he never committed suicide.

I don't know much about Hemingway, I don't know even know why he killed himself, but maybe he finally reached to the conclusion that he was mistaking or lying to himself.

God was very specific when he gave over a hundred prophecies in the OT about the first coming of Jesus Christ. They were all literally fulfilled when Jesus came the first time. Therefore I have great confidence in the prophecies regarding his Second Coming. The Bible tells us that Jesus had to be born in Bethlehem. The name of the town was given hundreds of years before Christ was born. He must also be born of a woman who was a Jew. Mary's genealogy includes Jews. The Bible also says that the Messiah would be pierced (as Jesus was on the cross), and many other prophecies. The events that must take place when Jesus comes again have not occurred. When Jesus comes again, He will come out of the sky, shining bright so that no one could miss Him. the sky will be dark at the time, so every eye will see Him plainly. Your question is a good one. It is answered by paying attention to the specific details about the event given in the Bible. We know the Son of God, the Savior of the World, the Judge of the Living and the Dead has come because of the amount of prophecy he perfectly fulfilled. We know Jesus has not come the second time because the events have not unfolded in the way the Bible states.

Yeah, it comes off as a little funny, hey? But people who are in that state of mind during suicide attempts don't really have the ability to question whether or not they may be coming off as a hypocrite. They want a quick way out of a seemingly inescapeable situation.

A lot of writers are on an emotional plane that is a lot higher than your Average Joe, which is essentially why they are "writers". I think that most people with great minds throughout history have had these personality traits. It seems that incredibly gifted people are often very introverted and egocentric (not to be confused with selfishness). People like this can often find themselves isolated which can lead to depression hence suicide.

To those who 'belong to the world' and are of it; lacking in spiritual virtue and, mingling over the boundaries of wisdom, the 'inner journey' is likened to passing through a tunnel of infinitely void loneliness. ...and of the man disposed to drink as the companion to his inner void; there is no light. In the absence of light and unselfish love, hope becomes a mist. Unto the end of self choosing upon the consciousness of one creating his own destiny, is a horse that suicide rides.

Life is fine and worth fighting for... Words who's reality resides in the individual willing to run the fine race, in truth and wisdom... unto the end and beyond.

He was a different man when he said that. Over time people change.

He gave up.

Its awfully sad.

And he could have just lied because he saw it wrong to commit suicide even though he did....

dude this is how moods work . I could love somethin in a minute and come to hate it in another . besides it's just s.th he said someday , doesn't mean he believed in it deep inside .

possibilities:

1)he was wrong!

2)he was joking!

3)it was not a suicide!

That's life.

cause at that point of his life he had something or someone whatever it is that made him say, and made him feel it

losing it might caused him to commit suicide
