You invested $30, 000 in writing greeting cards. Supplies cost $0.02 per card and selling them for 50 cents?

find the:

cost function

revenue function

the break even point. describe what that means

    Look at it this way----> total money you spent on making greeting cards=30,000

    the cost for you to make one card= $0.02 (two cents)

    i believe you would divide these two numbers---->that would let you make 1,500,000 greeting cards

    you sell each card for $0.50 (fifty cents)

    so next you would multiply the two numbers--->giving you $750,000

    break even: when would you be able you earn $30,000 from the

    greeting cards or in other words being able to pay off the $30,000 you used to start the business.

    and you would be able to do that when you sold 60,000 greeting cards.

    Well I never would have spent $30,000 worth of greeting cards in the first place, nontheless, people would not be willing to spend their money on them.
