ok i have a dell dimension desktop computer,?

and the cd-dvd drive only plays cds,i put in an extra cd-dvd drive and get the same result,i canot play dvds ,please help me

    You probably have the old version of Windows Media Player. Try using Power DVD or DivX as your DVD player. You can download then install DivX from here:

    http://www.divx.com/en/downloads.

    Did you make sure that your writing software does DVD's? Try Nero out.
