Why am I not surprised by this email in response to my Yahoo Answer?

Let's be honest. American are just plain uncivilized. Any country that puts the lives of the most vulnerable in their society below making money is uncivilized!

As a poster above has suggested you were insulting. I believe that you made a genuine point about some GW deniers and one has proved your point without a doubt.

It is also a response of the less adequate individuals to resort to violence, often severely so, no matter what their nationality. To offer a violent response to a comment that the ignorant often respond in this way is actually quite amusing!

But please note it isn't only those from the USA who do this. Try posting, in the appropriate palce, a message that might be construed as criticising Israel, or Islam, or fundamentalist Christianity, or is pro-abortion, and see what happens!

Incidentally, I'm not fully convinced by the GW argument myself. I can see that mean temperatures are going up, but I don't think that the human influence has been fully assessed yet. I do agree as well that it would be a very good idea to cut our emissions, reduce our energy consumption when possible, etc. But here I think we have one of the roots of the violent response. America is a country dependent on high consumption (of just about anything material) and a lot of people are making money based on this, or are in employment that depends on it. So any idea that runs counter to money and lifestyles is going to be unwlecome.

These people are stupid. Their response to critics is "You can't say anything bad about Amercia, even if what you are saying is 100% true! If you say anything bad about America I will f*cking KILL you! We're the best country in the world! Git R dunnnn!"

Well you did insult them, which is a no-no in any real discussion. I usually reply to these dumb political messages with, "why don't you suck it" or "stfu you don't know ****." If they just want to trash talk, they got it.

If you dont like America then dont tell everyone on the internet that!! we all secretly hate countries but we dont wanna hurt anyones FEELINGS!!
