Difference between Lightweight and Heavyweight Galloway?
Now I would assume that it's their build. Lightweight built finer, heavyweight built chunkier. But I've seen the two classes at shows (and stewarded for the ring) and I couldn't tell the difference between the two classes, it wasn't noticeable. Then my friend mentioned that it might be the breeding behind the galloway or something.
So can anyone clarify what's the difference (with photos?)? I've also now got a horse that'll be in the galloway ring and I have no idea which class to go in (she's Arabian Warmblood, 14.3 1/2hh).

They should be as you thought, between builds. People these days enter lightweights into heavy and win. Meanwhile, the true heavyweights place really low down or don't place. Your arabian will probably be classed as lightweight though or she would be in my eyes because arabians aren't exactly chunkily (I just made up a word haha) built.
