how many oz. of formula should a newborn take in?

    my baby was taking 3 oz at 1 week if she seems hungry after just two oz bump her up an oz whats the worst that could happen she doesnt drink that last oz!

    newborns eat 2oz every 2 to 4hrs. But some babies are different. My daughter did 4oz after 2weeks but shes skinny as can be. lol

    It depends on the exact age of the baby, and the weight of the baby. It changes day to day as the baby grows. If you are in any doubt, you must consult your baby's pediatrician.

    every baby is different my baby baby girl took in 3oz milk into she was 8weeks old than it went to 4oz

    when they are very very new.. days.. they shoudl get 2 ounces at each feeding. There can be like 8- 12 feedings

    2-4oz is average, every 3 or so hours.

    That depends on their size and weight. They drink what they are hungry for.

    I breastfed both of my boys, so they nurse until they are done.

    much easier than trying to measure and wonder if they got enough.

    what does your pediatrician recommend ?
