Try downloading their client (I believe they have it on the website) and running the game from there. If the problem still persists, open up Internet Explorer (I know, I know), go to Java Options on the Runescape front page (drag down menu near play game, I think?), and select the second option, which should make some mention to IE only. If it still doesn't work, go to add/remove programs, remove java and all of the updates you may have installed, and then re install the latest version.

First step is to hit the caps lock key on your keyboard, thank you.

Next make sure you got the latest java, uninstall all the java on your computer from add/remove programs. Then you need to go to http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp and click "download JRE" and pick what flavor of OS you have(probably the one that just says "Windows" but if you have 64bit windows then choose that one..)

Install it and make sure when your installing it you pick the proper browsers for the plugin to be installed in, if you use firefox and it isnt installed for that then it doesnt help you.

Try the game with a different browser, ie. Firefox

Here's what you do. go to start, near the bottom of the menu should be a button called shut down, click it. Then here's the kicker...go outside..I know the sun is bright and takes getting used to, and make some real friends.
