Do you think Elvis Stojko's comments about the American's win in figure skating were uncalled for?
I don't think so..I think the US already get enough medals as it is? Are they that talented? Of course not! It's all a conspiracy set forth by the American Govt.

I totally agree with Elvis. I hope that whoever governs figure skating looks into this. The Russian should have won.

Yes. Although it does not surprise me that Elvis would favor another talented but jump-focused skater. The deck was stacked on Plushenko's side coming in, and had he landed all of his jumps securely, he may have even won. But Evan won the night. The sport is "figure skating," not "ice jumping."

The U.S. gets lots of medals. Other medals have absolutely nothing to do with figure skating medals. I think this shows the worthlessness of your views. Actually, I honestly think the Government of the United States doesn't give two sh*ts about olympics. It's not the government who cares in the case of the U.S. They leave the obsessed with being the best people to do it for them. I honestly think the U.S. gets lots of medals because there's a preponderance of people with money who have nothing better to do than prove their worth. There's so much better to do with that money...but I'll never blame it on the government.

If you actually watched the mens figure skating final, you would have seen a flawless performance by Lysacek. Plushenko was good, but not flawless. Lysacek deserved to win.
In terms of the other American medals. What do you suggest? Perhaps when an American reaches the finish line before the athlete of another country, we should disqualify the American?

American government is a feckelss joke. To suggest they have the intelligence and influence to affect the outcome of a completely irrelevant competition in Canada is laughable. Just like the name, "Elvis Stojko"

Elvis can say whatever he wants, but what's done is done.

Yes I do. I think he's a typical "We're Canada, We Invented Ice, We Deserve Everything" militant entitlelist who got too caught up in the "Own The Podium" bluster. I don't consider him a representation of the class that has been exemplified by the Canadians.
Wait until the hockey team fails to win gold. Then it'll be Gary Bettman's fault.
