How to install a car seat in a 92 dodge 3/4 ton with jumper seats?
I have a 92 Dodge3 that I bought that is a 3/4 ton extended cab with jumper seats. The problem is that I need to find out how to put a car seat in the rear for my 10 month old or if there is some kind of devise that will allow me to put him in the rear, for my wife does not want him in the front seat. Any insight would be very helpful. Thanks!

Hi - do you have the seats the flip down from the sides? If so - then there is no possible way to install the seat.
Do you happen to have the car's manual?
It should have a section called "child restraints"
It will tell you specifically where a child restraint is allowed.
Is there an airbag in the passenger seat? If not - it's perfectly safe to install a rear facing car seat up front. The biggest risk to having a child rear facing up front is the air bag - it is a deadly risk. But with no airbag, you're all set. I would't worry about trying to get it on the jump seat. I would put it outboard so that your airbag won't impact it in an accident (driver side). But actually - your car's manual will have all that information - or call the dealer and ask for a copy of that section of the manual.

Kid seats are designed to face front or back. If I'm not mistaken, those jump seats and their belts face towards the center. They are not compatible
