I have a problem with the throttle on my car?

My 1991 Chevy Caprice was working fine until today, but now when I press the pedal the engine makes a bubbly sound and the throttle jumps (jerks the engine). Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.

Start with a tune-up. Any number of things might be wrong. The engine isn't running right which means, there isn't either sufficient air, spark or fuel, or these aren't working in the correct time.

Could be throttle body is sticking. Better have a mechanic check before you have an accident.

try cleaning the throttle body out inside.
