Straight Talk pre-paid phone is activated and minutes filled but not working, any suggestions?
Ok, so, I bought a pre-paid cellphone from walmart online and they have the best rates by the way ($45=unlimited text and calls and for $30=1,000 text and 1,000 minutes with great coverage area)!
but the phone is not working. when I try to make a call it prompts me to use my minutes code and when I put it in it says that it has already been used and when I check my balance online it says that I have 1,000 minutes. Could it just be that it takes a while to activate or is there some other problem? I have already called customer service but they are closed and all I get is automated answering service. Does anyone use this service and if so did you come across the same problem?

if you did not call *22890 on the phone yet, it won't work. this completes the activation process. don't forget to dial star before the number. if this doesn't work, then you need to talk to there customer service. hope this helps.

I have straight talk. I am a truck driver. I can use internet... text.. SMS.. etc.. I can recieve calls... my number is activated.... I did *22890... like 50 times.. 611 does not work... it connects me to verizon.. when I dial any number it connects me to verizon.. I have had straight talk for like 2 months... this just started happening. help plz
