Domain name transfers?

You have 2 options.

1. push the domain to another account at the same registrar.

Your family member signs up for an account at the same registrar. You go into your account, unlock the domain, and find in the options to push the domain to their account.

2. transfer the domain.

If your family member has an account with a different domain registrar, you can unlock the domain, find the AUTH transfer code and give this to your Family member.

At the receiving account, select transfer a domain name, enter the domain name and the AUTH code, then you will be taken to an order page (to pay for a one year extension). An approval email is sent to the whois email, and once confirmed the domain will complete the transfer after 7 days.
