You can only hide the list in your profile and not the actual questions and answers.

There no no way to hide questions and answers on Yahoo! Answers. It would serve no purpose. This site is for people to do research by looking for questions and associated answers. Questions can always be found by a search on the subject.

Many people hide the list of questions and answers in their profile. This is done so that someone who has something against them can't just go through the list and send violations for everything.

The option to hide the list is in your profile at http://answers.yahoo.com/my/my_edit

Go to your profile and click on the Edit My Info link. On the page that opens up, click on the "Make my Q&A private" box.

This make your Q&A show up as private on your profile page. It does not, however, do anything to your questions and answers on the pages where they normally sit. They are still there.

Because this is an information exchange site, all the information exchanged on it becomes part of the archives here. You can't do anything about that.

Click on the little button to the right of the search toolbar called "My Profile" and click on that. Click on the "Edit my info" hyperlink on your profile, and then scroll down to privacy.

Check the box that says "Hide my Q&As from everyone but Fans and Contacts.

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click Save changes or Submit changes (Can't remember which).

Your fans and contacts will still be able to see your questions and answers.

    Hope this helps :)

there is not any such factor as 'personal' in the case of the web, and also you must don't forget that whatever you publish on-line may also be located by means of anyone watching for it. the ethical is practically do not publish whatever on-line you would not be completely happy to your peers and household to grasp. despite the fact that you would touch the seek engines that have listed the ones pages, your probabilities of getting the pages eliminated are narrow to none i am afraid - finally that is the task of a seek engine; to catalog public webpages.
