    Assalamualaikum

That may be true with regards to other creatures here on Earth but I don't think it's true with regards to Humankind.

    The way I see it:

    Other Creatures - Evolved

Humans - Created (independently in Jannat)

I explain what I mean by this below:

I'm not against the idea of Evolution when it comes to all other creatures except Human Beings. After all, what's interesting is that one of Allah's 99 Names is "Al-Bari'" which means "The Evolver"

    http://www.jannah.org/articles/names.html

So I would feel Evolution can maybe be applicable to all other Creatures except Human Beings. I feel we Humans are definitely Created independently from all other Species and we are most definitely not Evolved. We are a unique Creation who did not require Evolution for us to come into being. We were created in Jannat (Heaven) starting with our ancestor Parents Hazrat Adam (pbuh) and his wife and they were sent down to Earth which was already thriving with Evolved life, we were really the "Aliens" if you'd like sent to inhabit Planet Earth.

We are not an Evolved Creation but an independently Created Species and the Proof for this lay in the fact that we have a Far Superior Intelligence to any other species known on Earth. This is proof of how Unique we are and in a way is Proof that our Creation must've been different from the other Species we share our planet with.

So, in conclusion, I see no reason why we cannot deny Evolution with respect to other creatures here on Earth as Evolution could be part of the code Allah has created into our Universe just like how The Laws of Physics are part of the Code Allah created into our Universe, However I firmly feel that Man is not an Evolved Creature but one who was created independently in Jannat and sent down to Earth, That is why we are so Cherished by Allah because we are truly His most unique Creation.

Basically what I'm saying here is:

    Other Creatures - Evolved

Humans - Created (independently in Jannat)

That's why Humans have Intelligence, other creatures have Instinct only

PS: These are just my views on the matter, they should not be accepted as Canonical, this is just a reasoned and contemplated Hypothesis of mine, Allah knows best.

We are not Evolved, other Creatures probably are, we were Created in Heaven independently, I base my answer on what I've read in the Quran and what I've seen in Science. When Allah created our Universe, He created a code in it with respect to the Laws of Physics, Gravity etc, perhaps in that Code was also imparted Evolution for the other Species we share our Planet with, Allah still created them but through the Code of Evolution programmed into our Universes Initial Code, Evolution doesn't deny Allah as still being the Creator of all things because Stars today form based upon the Laws of Physics which Allah set into the code of how our Universe would function, Allah created that code, Allah is still the Creator, Man was created uniquely in Heaven, that's why we entitled to Heaven when we die (if we were good) not the other Species because we came from there, that's our real home, again this is just my hypothesis, don't anyone accept my words here as fact, Allah knows best and He alone knows the Essential truth.

    And Allah knows best

May Allah provide us with guidance

    Salaam

Look at yourself. How else could you have got here?

Don't say God, because that just steps the problem back a notch. You still have to explain how God came to be.

Inside your body, there is a nerve which goes from the brain to the neck...via the heart. If it was designed, that designer would be fired.

The photosensitive cells in your retina point backward into the skull, not outward to the world. This is some design isn't it?

You get goosebumps when you are cold because your ancestors had hair, and raised the hair up to form an insulating layer when they were cold. The hair isn't there any more, but the mechanisms still are.

If evolution isn't true, why are there no placental mammals in Australia, only marsupials? Why are the only mammals in New Zealand bats who could fly there from overseas?

Why does one of our chromosomes bear the hallmarks of having been spliced together from two into one (other primates have one more chromosome than us)?

Why do we find no rabbits in Precambrian rock?

Why do whales have pelvises and the vestiges of legs, even though they are sea creatures?

Why are there muscles attached to your ears that you cannot use? Why are some humans still born with vestigal tails?

Why do many flightless birds still have wings?

Why have we never found a single fossil in the wrong strata of rock?

Fossils are not the only evidence for evolution. The evidence is fossil, genetic, anatomical, biogeographical and experimental. Evolution is written all over us.
