He doesn't spend enough time with me?

We have been together for six years and our us time has gotten smaller and smaller. I thought he needed more space so I secretly backed off and stopped calling him as much. We only see each other once a week and I have to try really hard to get him to come see me because he says hes working or some other ****. We are both in school but I still find the time to call him when I can but he never answers his phone. My Bf spent Valentines Day helping his best guy friend make the perfect Valentines Day gift while I only got a text message and a date the day after

Am I being unreasonable to think he doesn't spend enough time with me?

Girl you need to be direct. You secretly stopped keeping up the contact on your side of things...you need to openly tell him your concerns. If this relationship is worth it, he should take you seriously and start to change his ways and give you some more attention!

That is completely reasonable. This may sound harsh but maybe he's getting bored of you. After six years of the same thing. Try to change things up a bit next time you guys hang out, do something unpredictable, something you guys have never done before. Like if you guys always stay in, go out and do something exciting. Make it so he wants to hang out with you, that sounds bad but I mean make it so it's fun to hang out with you. Not just the same old boring thing.

    Hope this helps!

You need to be more direct and tell him how you feel. Guys can't read our minds. If you want more time with him then tell him. That's the only way he will know.
