R&P: What would you think about this album (long, please read)?

To know what my band's sound is, take a look at my profile description.

The first album opens up with a sketch, called "Our First Album Ever", where we have a ridiculous sounding warning about the content of the album. There is lots of vulgar language used by all of us yelling.

The second track is a punk rock song (similar to "Hell Yeah" by Rev Theory and "Explosivo" by Tenacious D). It's even more vulgar than the opening sketch and very fast paced. In it, we name some of our band's influences.

The third track, "Straight Line", uses absolutely no explicit language. It is an anarchy song, but the message isn't clear unless analyzing the lyrics. Just by listening to the lyrics, the message isn't clear. The song's message is saying that we need to stop letting religion and politics tell us how to live our lives. It's sound is very similar to Cake's cover of "War Pigs" (Black Sabbath) and Cake's "Rock n Roll Lifestyle" and "Comfort Eagle."

Our fourth track is an extremely goofy song, called "Hippo", and is about Hippos. The song has no real point, but just made to be goofy and make hippos sound scary and evil. The song's sound is very similar to Latin Metal, and sung in glam rock/screamo vocals, somewhat like the second track.

The fifth song is an excessively explicit song, called "Boys with No Life", where I call out two guys that have really messed with me. Their names are Sean and Nick. The song is similar to AFI's "Medicate" and "Miss Murder."

The sixth song, "The Repercussions of My Latest Decision", is a very unique song. Their's no song really quite like it. It opens up with a big instrumental. During the instrumental their is a 1-minute long monologue. When the monologue ends, their is a short guitar solo. When the guitar solo ends, their are two somewhat explicit verses, and that ends the song.

The seventh song, "Em", is a song I wrote about a girl that I fell in love with. She broke my heart, and the only reason I still want to play this song is out of spite and to show her what a great thing she missed. It's sound is similar to "Alien's Exist" and "Dammit" by blink-182, "Blitzkreig Bop" by The Ramones, and "Story of My Life" by Social Distortion.

The eigth track, which is called "Don't Fall In Love", has two audiences. The audience I have during the verses is Emily, telling her how she lost the one person that would do anything for her because he (me) truly loved her. The second audience I have is everyone else during the chorus. I'm warning people not to fall in love too easily because love can hurt. The song is similar to "Valerie" and "Don't Start a Band" by Reel Big Fish.

The ninth song is a cover of "Sweet Leaf" by Black Sabbath. In case you don't know what it's about... it's about pot. Marijuana.... Yay!

The tenth song is called "Everything's Better". It's another unique sounding song. This track's message is talking about how, after Emily was gone, I wanted to move on from spending six months on the only person that I ever truly loved, but wasn't sure how. I started thinking about going back to my former mentality as a player. Then I met (before you ask, I'm bi) this really wonderful guy and how much I love him. We're actually going out Wednesday night. This song uses absolutely no explicit language.

The eleventh song is part 1 of the albums reprise. It's called "Another Day" and is a cross between an AFI song, a blink-182 song, a Zebrahead song, and an Offspring song. This song is also pretty vulgar.

The twelth and final song is part 2 of the albums repise. Take a guess if this song is vulgar. It's called "Reality F.U."... Think about that for a second. Is it vulgar? Why, yes it is. It's actually not that bad though. The only time I cuss is during the chorus, where I yell "F*ck you!" It opens up with a big instrumental, then comedic Jimi Hendrix impersonations about how it's finally time to rock the set and how you haven't seen anything yet (not the actual lines, but similar), then some yelling at the mic (similar to an Offspring or Clutch song), then a heavy sounding bridge. With a chorus that mentions some of the things I've sung about so far (Sean, Emily, ADD, etc.) and ends by saying to reality "F*ck you!" It's one of the heaviest songs on the entire album, and is a lot of fun.
