I would like to thank Obama for his stimulus package?

My husband and I received $400 dollars last year from his stimulus package. We just finished doing our taxes and thanks to that $400 we are now in a new tax bracket. So we owe the government $450. So what good did this do us? So once again..thanks doofus.

Update:

I am not leaving my tax info for you loser you think everybody makes up lies about your puppet king.

Wow, that's amazing. You made exactly the same amount of money this year as you did last year except for that $400 Obama gave you and you ended up in a new tax bracket, or did you or your husband get a raise? If you did, why aren't you blaming that for your tax bracket change?

Just wait 'till people do their state taxes. California decresed the child tax credit and most working families will now owe money, rather than get a refund.

So, you're actually complaining that you got to keep more of your money throughout the year?

If you would have put that $400 into a savings account, you'd only owe $50.

It's not Obama's fault you can't budget your finances. Who's really at fault here?

    lol...

I am going to point out that the tax cuts won't have a bearing on the stimulus until next year.

Anyways, the whole thing was a straight-up con job.

I don't believe your story to be true, sorry. That $400.00 does not go towards your income for the year. It is a tax credti and those are not taxable income. I think you are someone who made up a story to try and make a point, but thanks for you participation in yahoo answers. Why am I getting thumbs down for telling the truth?
