I'm looking for a recipe?

You put cherry pie filling and pineapple in the bottom of a 13X9x2 pan. Cover with a box of dry yellow cake mix. Then top that with a stick of butter slices. I don't recall how long or what temp. Also unsure of amount of pineapple and do you drain?

    DUMP CAKE

20 ounces crushed pineapple you don't have to drain it

    16 ounces cherry pie filling

1 package yellow cake mix, dry

yes, drain the pineapples. 375oF for thirty to 35minutes until crust is golden brown. The only thing I can think of is that you would cut the butter into the cake mix to make it more of a crumble rather than just sprinkling them separately. But you know the recipe better than I do.

Be sure to preheat the oven before placing the cake into it.
