Please help me with a math question?

Say you have two sets of numbers that average out to 89

Set A (counts 40%)

100

100

100

100

100

100

100

Set B (counts 60%):

90

70

100

64

88

Now, if you added an extra 100 to Set A, would the average 89 go up or stay the same?

Evidently not, because set A has already reached its cap percentage. You cannot get better than 100%.

It would stay the same because the average of the 40% is already 100%, so another 100 would just keep it as 100%. So your average will remain the same. Now if you added 100 to set b, your average would go up

It would stay the same, because the average of set A is already 100%.

Adding an additional 100% would make the average of set A remain at 100%, and as long as set B doesn't change, the overall average would remain constatn as well

it would stay the same, because the average would still be 100% in Set A.
