Are the Southern Vampire Mysteries worth reading?
I've seen True Blood (the show) and loved it, and I was wondering if the books are a good read.

They aren't trashy, they're just popcorn novels - easy to read, one after the other, not as deep and intense as the show, but fun nonetheless

'Well personally I think just because I say its worth reading or not worth reading it doesn't mean you'll agree with me . Different People have different opinions. But my opinions of the southern vampire mysteries is yes they are worth reading though I havent read the whole series I'm up to the 6th one

It depends on what types of book you like really. There "romance novels" so like the show theres going to be alot of sexual content. The people i know who have read them enjoy then none the less

No they really aren't. I read the first three books and they were fun, but after that, they just got boring.
