What books are similar to Sherlock Holmes?

I just finished reading Sherlock Holmes and would like to hear any suggestions you have about books in the similar genre or style of writing.

    Agatha Christie, if it's the type you're looking for, but if it's mysteries in general, maybe with police work and murders, I'd suggest the Eve Dallas series by J.D. Robb.

    You might like the Agatha Christie's sleuth, Hercule Poirot... there are a number of books where Poirot works with a partner - like Holmes/Watson. But he isn't in all the stories.

    Agatha Christie Novels ( I highly recommend ABC murders!) If you like books for children Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys HOPE THIS HELPED!
