Does he like me or is it just friendship?

Question

a guy know is traveling from 1,600 km to see me...we are friends but always joke that we are dating ad that we love each other. his father seems to think hes 'infatuated' with me and my friends always ask if we are dating yet because we are always talking and always say goodnight with a 'ily'. he has even asked if we are going out because how we talk... is it possible he really does like me and when he comes down we could take it further easily? i do like him alot because he always makes me laugh and likes to cheer me up.

hes also only ever had 1 gf who dumped him shortly afer going out..i helped him get through it all..so hes girl shy but said hed probably be jelous if i got a bf, but he said it jokingly

Hmmm from how you talking it does sound like your dating and definatly he likes you ... i have seen a guy do the same thing to me... so when he comes down... take it futher trust me no guy does that because they dont like like you... just think about it... it will make sence he talks to you like ur his girlfriend and he acts like it... he so likes you.,... well hope this helps... You already know the answer is yes!  Your real question is -Should you put yourself on the line and confirm what you both have been feeling?  My answer is yes - I did it and my friend and I are still friends even though things did not work out.  You will never know until you try.

P.S. - Would you travel 1,600 km to see someone you did not like? If the answer is no, then you have answered your own question.

yes he does like you. if he didnt there would be no reason for him to tell you or ask you if you are going out bcause of the way you talk to each other. if he wouldnt be interested in something more than a friendship he wouldnt be txtn you goodnight ily or talk to you all the time let alone travel somewhat far to see you.
you two should def. give it a chance sounds like it would work out.

When a guy even asks if you guys are going out, then he's nervous and wants to know if you would want to but doesn't want to assume that you would.
