How to determine what part of the gene this is (NCBI)?

I've been given the sequence to a plasmid, PLT61, from addgene.org. I've been asked to search the first 1200 base pairs on an NCBI BLAST to determine which part of the UNC-22 gene is present on the plasmid. But I'm at a loss. Can anyone give me a hint as to what on the NCBI search I should look at to figure this out? Thanks.

Go to the NCBI website and look in the top right corner. Under 'Popular Resources', you will see a link to BLAST. Go there and look under 'Specialized BLAST' for a link to 'Align two (or more) sequences..' that gets you to the screen where you can put in your plasmid sequence and your comparison sequence (the UNC-22 gene) in the boxes and do a run which will match them up and show where they match. Since they will be identical where they match, you can use the megablast option. Don't forget to put in a job title!

Gay men inherit the traits from their mothers. The "gay gene" escapes natural selection because while it inhibits a man'a ability to reproduce it increases it in females. Therefore, women who carry it are likely to be more promiscuous and attracted to male bodies. It seems to be associated with traits such as extraversion and openness in females which makes men more attracted to them. Not all women with this gene will have gay sons. It randomly occurs either a male or female will get it. The former will become homosexual and without reproductive success the gene itself will die out. The latter is thought to become very attracted to male bodies and it will trigger attractive traits that stand out to men leading to reproductive success and reinforcing it.
