Bruised inner lip and gums after wisdom tooth extraction?

I got all four wisdom teeth removed last Thursday (it's Tuesday) as well as a Frenectomy. I was just checking out how everything looked when I noticed that on the inside of my mouth there was a bruise or something that looked like it. The inside of my lower lip on the right side has a purple patch and the bottom part of my gums where my lip meets is a very dark red-purple. I feel no pain at all where it's bruised, but it just kind of took me by surprise.

What I need to know is if it's anything serious, or if it's just a side-effect.

Thanks in advance

Update:

I know that bruising on the chin, cheek, and eye area are normal, but on the INSIDE? :S
