Hah, that's funny. I never noticed that, I guess I see them as names and not as words if they're spelt with a capital letter. (I had to think about Neil for like half a minute before I got it:P) This is really interesting.

Pierce is another one I could add to your list. And Trey (like tray) and Nick and Drew and Wade and Chase and Phil (like fill).

With girls names I somehow expect it, you know. Because of Faith and Hope and Grace and Rose etc. (and also weirder things like Apple :P ) But on boys I thought words as names were quite uncommon. Turns out there are "word names", I just never realized it.

Yea there doesn't seem to be as much of a variety on boys names as their is girls, well there is but it seems people normally go for the same names. I am 30 weeks tomorrow and i don't know the sex of my baby. I have always liked unique names and have chosen Carson John for a boy. John after my uncle who died recently. But John is also a very common name. Also i have chosen Rosalie Helen for a girl because they are both family names, Rosalie being my great great grandmothers name and Helen being my great grandmothers name and also my boyfriends mothers name who passed away when he was 8. I do find Rosalie has become more popular since those silly twilight movies but yea. I do see what you mean. Sorry ive rambled on! lol.

Some girl's names are virtues: Faith, Hope, Charity, just to name a few.

Lol, I have honestly never even thought about that before. You have a point.
