what are the extra risks in becoming pregnant shortly after a successful pregnancy?

my husband and I are debating on using birth control as we want another baby. the problem is that it took me a week to get pregnant with my first and I got pregnant with my second (his first)

within 2 months of our wedding (we waited). so I get pregnant easy. we want a new baby shortly but I need to know the added risks.

Update:

wow it's amazing how many rude comments you can get by asking a simple question.

if you don't have an actual answer or just want to harass me then don't bother answering.

TY very much for those who actually answer my question.

You can consult a doctor about this for good clinical information, but I'm not aware of any risks to this. The female body does a great job of recovering quickly after pregnancy. For centuries, women have been reproducing constantly - it's only in the past few hundred years that we've reduced family sizes and planned and spaced out our children. In many cultures still, bigger families are better and women are little baby factories. It's what the body was made for, and you should be fine.

Don't worry about it, you can always get an abortion.
