Why wont the sound on my computer work?
I tried to install limewire but it didnt take cause my firewall then I uninstalled it and now my sound wont work. Whats up with it? I think this happened before, do I need a sound card or something? I have windows 98 I think.
Speakers are fine and the mute is not on

ummmmm.... well lime-wire is known for having a lot of viruses so that could have been something. maybe you accedentaly muted all sound? try checking if you speakers are plunged in right. and if all else fails, reset your comp and hope for the best.
